Multi-Factor Authentication & Identity

A stolen password shouldn’t be enough to reach your systems. Cratsol helps UK businesses put MFA and identity protection in place, so even leaked credentials don’t open the door.

What multi-factor authentication actually does

Multi-factor authentication adds a second check on top of the password. It combines something you know (a password or PIN), with something you have (a phone app or security key), or something you are (a fingerprint or face). Even if one factor is stolen, the others still stand in the way.

That single change blocks the vast majority of account-takeover attacks, because a password on its own is no longer enough to get in.

Passwords fail. Attackers know it.

Most breaches don’t begin with sophisticated hacking, they begin with a stolen, reused, or phished password. Once an attacker has valid login details, nothing stops them.

Protection that follows your team wherever they work.

Compliance Support

Meet the MFA expectations of Cyber Essentials, GDPR, and cyber insurance.

FAQ UI - Radius + Full Width Mobile
MFA or 2FA, what's the difference?
−
2FA uses exactly two factors; MFA means two or more. All 2FA is MFA, but not the other way round.
Will it slow my team down?
+
No. Modern MFA is usually a single tap or glance, and SSO means fewer logins overall, not more.
Do we need it for cyber insurance?
+
Increasingly, yes. Most insurers and standards like Cyber Essentials now expect MFA on key systems.
Cloud or on-premise?
+
Both are possible. The right choice depends on your systems, security needs, and budget, we'll talk it through.
